How you can help
All you need to do is go to your local public library and ask for a Summer Reading Club participation pack or you can register online and print the library activity sheets.
Entries are now closed for Summer Reading Club 2008-09. Remember to register next year!
This pack has lots of great activity sheets and games to do over the summer holidays.
Website activities
The website activities are grouped into four levels to appeal to a diverse range of readers. The levels are aimed at, but not limited to:
Level 1 (0-4 years)
Level 2 (5-7 years)
Level 3 (8-11)
Level 4 (12+ years)
Each level has a number of interactive activities including a game, a story, e-gallery and book raves. You and your child can listen to Kym Lardner telling his hilarious stories, join Jack Heath on his blog and view Kerry Argent’s virtual book, India the Showstopper.
Anna Fienberg, author of the very popular Tashi books will be chatting online on at 11am on Wednesday 17 December 2008. Terry Denton, author of Gasp!, will be chatting online at 11am on Thursday 15 January 2009.
