Draw
We drew our houses in level 1, but let’s have some fun and draw what our houses would be like if we lived in paradise! I’m going to have a bowling alley in my bedroom, a rollercoaster in my backyard and….a monkey in my kitchen. What’s your paradise house?
Why not post your drawing in the Paradise e-Gallery, so your friends and family all over the world can see it?
Write
What is your idea of a day in paradise? Is it relaxing on the beach? A trip to the moon? Or a party with all your friends and family? Maybe you’ve already spent a day in Paradise? Write a story about it. It can be as short or as long as you want.
Once you’ve written your story you could draw a picture to go with it. Or perform it with your friends for your family.
Make
Make your own fridge magnets:
Is your fridge looking a little boring? Let’s spruce it up with some personalised magnets. They are super easy and fun to make. They also make great presents!
What you will need:
· A magnet
· Cardboard or paper
· Colour pencils, paint, pens, glitter and any other objects you’d like to use to decorate your magnet
· Glue
What to do:
1. Ask an adult if they have any old calendars or ads with magnets attached.
2. Take the piece of cardboard off the front; be careful not to rip it too much.
3. Turn the cardboard over and draw anything you like on it. If it is an old magnet without cardboard, ask for some card that you can draw on. Don’t make it too big, as the magnet won’t be able to hold it up – the size of a CD case should do.
4. You can write your name in colourful letters, draw you favourite animal or write a poem – whatever you like! You can even glue and stick other things on to it.
5. Once you have finished your drawing or writing, glue the magnet onto the other side of the cardboard. Ask an adult for help – you don’t want to get your fingers stuck together!
Now you have a personalised magnet!
