Dreaming Stories
Storytelling is an integral part of life for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. The Dreamtime Stories tell of the ancestor spirits and explain how the land came to be inhabited. It can explore and explain the origins of features of the landscape, natural phenomena and ways of caring for the environment. Traditionally these stories have been passed down through the generations by story telling.
